hours. utility crews are still on the scene. an underground cable failed and caused a fire. they tell us that most of the 120 customers without power will not have it on until tomorrow morning. let's take you back to 7:00 a.m. this morning. flames shot out from the ground. bge and fire crews responded to get the situation under control. no one was injured. the restaurants were hurt. the majority had to close and lost a lot of business today. >> right now, we're trying to save as much as we can as far as the food. the freezers, refrigerators, were. stuff -- prepared stuff that we want to save and not throw out. >> date shipped in some dry ice to keep the food called for the rest of the business this week. the power outage will result in thousands of dollars of lost revenue tonight. as you can see, they are still working to replace the underground cable that failed. they are also looking to replace some transformers that allegedly blew as well. as for what caused it, that is still under investigation. we're told that about 40 customers should get power back on tonight. the remaining 80 sho
